A satisfying place to scratch. A little more peace for your furniture.
Your cat loves a good stretch and scratch. Your sofa would probably prefer a break. This 40 × 20 cm sisal scratching pad gives that daily habit a dedicated home, making it easier to offer an appealing alternative beside the places your cat already visits.
Its compact, single-layer format makes it easy to add a dedicated scratching area to an everyday living space. Keep a useful scratching surface close to the action and make it part of your cat's familiar surroundings.
Small footprint, everyday purpose
- A surface made for scratching: the sisal material offers a textured place for your cat to dig in, stretch and explore with their claws.
- A more practical alternative: placing the pad near a favourite scratching spot gives you somewhere suitable to redirect attention when the furniture becomes tempting.
- Easy to work into your home: the 40 × 20 cm size suits a dedicated pet corner or a convenient space near the sofa.
- A simple addition to your routine: leave it available and let your cat investigate, stretch and scratch at their own pace.
- Room to build a familiar habit: a consistent location helps your cat find their scratching area whenever the urge arrives.
Introduce it where it matters
Start with a secure, stable position near your cat's usual scratching area. Give them time to sniff and explore, then use gentle encouragement or a favourite toy nearby to create a positive introduction. Reward interest in the pad and keep the introduction gentle.
If your cat ignores the first location, try another spot they naturally pass, such as near a resting area. Different cats have different preferences, so placement is part of finding what works for yours.
