Give that curious nose something to discover
A familiar room can feel a little more interesting when there is something new to sniff out. This snuffle mat turns a small portion of your pet's food into a simple search activity, inviting them to explore the fabric and find rewards in their own time.
It is an easy way to add variety to an indoor routine. Instead of offering every piece in an open bowl, hide a few suitable morsels around the mat and enjoy watching your companion investigate. You provide the food and encouragement; their nose leads the next step.
Small details, a more engaging moment
- A place to sniff and search: food tucked among the fabric gives your pet something purposeful to investigate during a supervised session.
- Suitable for dogs and cats: adapt the activity to your individual pet, with easy first finds and a pace that keeps them interested.
- Polyester and cotton materials: the fabric design provides a different feel from a rigid bowl or plastic feeding toy.
- Washable for repeat use: remove crumbs and clean the mat between sessions so it is ready for another round of discovery.
- No electrical setup: this is a non-electric activity mat, so there is no charging or battery routine to remember.
- A simple way to use a measured portion: set aside a little of your pet's usual dry food allowance and make it part of their next search game.
Make the first search easy
Place the mat on a clean, level surface and stay nearby. Begin with a few pieces of familiar, pet-appropriate dry food left easy to find. As your pet understands the activity, tuck pieces a little further into the fabric without making the task frustrating.
For cats, a few small, accessible rewards may be a better introduction than a fully filled mat. For dogs, start slowly and interrupt gently if searching turns into grabbing, shaking or chewing the fabric. Let interest and comfort guide the length of the session.
What is included and how to care for it
Includes one Purple pet activity mat. Add your pet's own suitable food to create the search game; food, bowls and demonstration accessories are not included.
Shake out loose crumbs after use and check the fabric for any pieces of food left behind. Wash gently using mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before refilling. Follow the supplied care label for washing and drying, and let every section dry thoroughly before putting the mat away.
Common questions
How do I choose where to hide the food?
Leave the first pieces easy to see and reach. Once your pet understands the game, tuck them a little deeper into the fabric for a fresh search.
How long should a session last?
Begin with a few easy finds and watch your pet's interest. Finish while the activity is still enjoyable, then clear away crumbs and store the mat.
Can I use part of an ordinary meal?
Yes, suitable dry food from the usual allowance can become the reward. Measure the portion first so the search fits naturally into the day's feeding routine.
Bring a little discovery to your pet's day, one small find at a time.
